Rawan is a third-year student from Fort Myers, Florida studying economics and Middle Eastern studies. She is currently a legislative intern at the Florida Senate and is heavily involved in campus leadership amongst the groups of Office of Governmental Affairs, President’s Ambassadors, the Center, Conduct Board, the College of Social Sciences, the Garnet and Gold Key and Renegade honor societies. By being present in many corners of campus, Rawan focuses on unifying students across identity and community lines in order to best advocate for progressive and equitable university policies. Post undergrad, Rawan intends to enroll in law school pursuing a joint JD and MA in economics. She seeks these additional degrees in order to utilize economic expertise with legal knowledge to engage in international climate crisis negotiations and deal-making.
